Amanda Jackson Honored By Governor Parkinson as KHCAs 2010 Activity Director Of The Year

Medicalodges Arkansas City was truly honored this year as our Activity Director, Amanda Jackson, was selected by the Kansas Health Care Association’s 2010 Activity Director of the Year.  This is a very special honor which is bestowed upon only one person for the entire state of Kansas.  Some of the things which KHCA looks for in their candidates are uniqueness, their contributions to culture change, and their length of employment.  Amanda was first recognized and honored on October 21st during the 2010 KHCA Convention at Century II in Wichita, Kansas. Amanda was again recognized and honored at the State Capitol in Topeka, Kansas during a press conference with KHCA and Kansas State Governor Mark Parkinson.  This is a great honor and Medicalodges is deeply appreciative of all that Amanda does for each of our residents, families, and staff.  On behalf of Medicalodges, Inc. and most importantly, the residents of Medicalodges Arkansas City we wish to offer our heartfelt thanks and congratulations.
