Skilled Nursing
Medicalodges operates twenty-three skilled nursing centers in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. These centers offer the finest in rehabilitation, skilled nursing services, and specialized care. Health care services are organized and delivered through an individualized plan of care. Each resident’s plan of care is coordinated with their physician as well as other disciplines such as licensed nurses, therapy, dietetics, and social services.

Skilled Nursing Services
Medicalodges care centers are able to meet the skilled care needs of our residents to include such services as wound care, IV medications and fluids, intravenous feeding, catheter and colostomy care, surgical incision care, and diabetic care, as well as many other diagnoses.
Alzheimer’s Disease
To address the specialized needs of an individual with Alzheimer’s or other dementia-related disorder, select Medicalodges care centers in Kansas and Missouri offer a self-contained wing especially designed and equipped to meet the special needs of our residents.
Hospice Care
Hospice is often appropriate for those who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. All Medicalodges skilled care centers offer hospice care, which in coordination with your chosen hospice provider, gives resident and family members an increased level of care and support.
Mental Illness/Geriatric Psychiatry
Medicalodges skilled care centers in Paola and Gardner, Kansas, as well as Nevada, Missouri are dedicated to treating individuals diagnosed with mental illness. Issues such as behavior, mood, medication management, thought process and interpersonal interactions are addressed to improve the quality of life for these individuals.
Adult Day Care
Most Medicalodges skilled care centers offer adult day care.
All Medicalodges skilled care centers are approved for both Medicaid and Medicare payments. Several of our care centers also offer contract arrangements with the Veterans Administration. Private pay, private insurance, and long term care insurance are welcomed at all of our care centers.
